Clayton Appoints Director of Human Resources
Non-profit Adds Staff Sergeant to Executive Team
FORT WORTH, Texas – Melissa Morgan, former Staff Sergeant of the U.S. Army, joins Clayton Youth Enrichment as Director of Human Resources.
Melissa was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She joined the army in 2005 and moved to El Paso, TX in 2013 where she was stationed at Fort Bliss. While on active duty, she served as a Human Resource Manager with responsibilities that included training, development, recruitment and retention. Melissa feels that her most rewarding experience was working as Security Manager at NATO – “Having the opportunity to work with leaders of so many nations was the highlight of my
Melissa holds several degrees: Master of Project Management from DeVry University; Master of Business & Organization Security Management from Webster University; Bachelor of Business Administration from Columbia College. Jason Ray, President/CEO of Clayton says, “Melissa’s work experience along with the dedication and discipline she has as a former Staff Sergeant of the U.S. Army is an asset to Clayton. I’m glad she accepted the offer to join our team.”
“I am excited about teaching and developing management skills that will benefit our youth enrichment staff. Learning best practices are essential to development”, says Melissa.
Currently, Melissa lives in Addison, TX where she owns 4 horses and a dog. Aside from her
love of horses, she also enjoys running marathons.
