In the past 12 months, Clayton YES! provided over $150,000 worth of scholarships to families in Tarrant County who didn’t qualify for public assistance, but who could not get ahead while paying child care. It has been said that, “In times of great need, we are ALL rich enough to be philanthropists.” We hope that is true now. With the uncertainty of the economic climate, we expect that more and more parents will need assistance with childcare expenses.
We have set a goal to raise $10,000 toward Clayton scholarships. We can make our goal if you will be the next person to write a check or use your Mastercard or Visa to help families in Tarrant County. For $30, you can sponsor one child for one week. $120 will sponsor one child for an entire month. Your tax-deductible gift will make it possible for us to continue the work that we do.

Julie (pseudonym) recently became a single parent who was barely making ends meet. She made too much money to qualify for public assistance, and was at a point where she was going to have to choose between child care and her bills.
Julie found out about our scholarship program and applied for assistance. With a scholarship, both of Julie’s boys were able to attend Clayton’s programs. Julie was able to work knowing that her children were safe and didn’t have to be home alone.
